Meet our Team Leads


Elizabeth Kukla
Product & Engineering

Elizabeth is a full-stack engineer and product manager. She took both her BS in Computer Science and her Masters in Systems & Information Engineering from UVA’s School of Engineering and Applied Science. She started her career in Düsseldorf, Germany at trivago GmbH where she worked as both a backend engineer and as an associate product manager. She returned to the US with a software firm where she spent 4 years as a full-stack engineer, systems architect, and product owner before opening Tech Foundry. In her spare time, she enjoys running and training her ATD certified therapy dog, Dieter.


Julia Roach
Branding & Design

Julia is a British Visual Designer based in Düsseldorf, Germany. She has worked as a creative for branding, communication, digital design, UI Design, and fashion for clients ranging from small startups to some of the world’s largest brands. Elizabeth & Julia first met working together at trivago GmbH and have worked together on multiple projects since. Julia works with Tech Foundry to guide new products through brand definition and UI Design, and of course was instrumental in Tech Foundry's branding and design as well.


Dieter
Smiles & Joy

Dieter takes joy in supplying smiles and joy as an Alliance of Therapy Dogs (ATD) certified therapy dog. He has AKC titles in hunting, show, good citizenship, and therapy dog work. Dieter is the official office greeter on behalf of Tech Foundry.
